NMC 12000

NMC 12000 operates a stream of envelopes and documents printed together on the same paper roll or sheet of paper. The envelope is cut out and folded to contain the documents. Each envelope can contain up to 8 A4 pages. Envelope dimension available are DIN Lang and C5. Production speed is up to 12,000 mail items per hour.

NMC equipment is easily integrated in any production environment.

The 5 production steps

1st step

Loading of the roll or the paper sheets containing both the pre-printed documents and the envelope from the single substrate.

Central cutting of the sheet or roll.

At this stage the 2 components of the mail piece are separated and aligned. Then they are diverted by type, either envelope or document and then cut (A4 or envelope design). A4 pages are accumulated and folded all together or folded page/page and then accumulated.

Step 4

The folded pages are automatically positioned on the envelope whose side flaps are then folded over the mail-piece. Everything is moved on to another section which folds and glues the back of the envelope.

The envelope’s main flap is folded and glued. The mail piece is then sealed and ready to be posted.
